DUBAI METRO EXPANSION 2020

The project is a 14.5 km extension of the Dubai Metro from Nakheel Harbour & Tower Station to the Expo 2020 site in Dubai World Central.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Structure: Underground Station and pop up Station
Building Metric:
Design of pop up structure composite slab deck and steel framing supported above the underground station.
Design of retaining walls and concrete slabs and slab on grade foundation, to seismic and temperature and gravity design loads. This project was designed to European and British codes.

ICD  ONE  ZA'ABEEL

Twin towers connected by a 230m skylight, extending by 70 from one end of the Tower.  Podiums on either side of the highway consist of 7 basements and 4 Podium Levels.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Structure: Podium A
Building Metric:
Typical floor area 13,250 sqm
4 podium levels
7 basement levels
Designed basement and podium slabs and beams to temperature and gravity loads.
Columns, shear walls, buttress and retaining walls were design for seismic, soil, gravity and temperature design loads. 
Steel trusses ranging from 28m to 47m supporting the Podium landscape roof were designed to code and approval.

MEERAS BVLGARI:

HOTEL AND RESIDENCE

Bulgari Hotel and Residences consisted of two Hotels, North and South Hotel. The hotels were G+4 a midrise building governed by seismic forces and gravity loads.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Structure:  Bvlgari Hotel
Building Metric:
Typical floor area 6,500 sqm (approximately)
G+4 Levels

Responsible for analyzing the Structural ETABS model of the Hotel structure and produce calculations and drawings of the horizontal elements (floor slabs & beams) of the hotel.

Performed independent design verification of  the design completed by other colleagues based on internal QA/QC procedures, and assisted  team leader engineer with the preliminary and detail design of the Hotels and Residential structures

JUNE 2014-DEC 2014

ALBARARI DEVELOPMENT:

SEVENTH HEAVEN

Al Ashjarh living also known as Seventh heaven is a 12 story residential and commercial, with staggered blocks as shown in the image.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for the design and check of transfer beams with floating columns. Performed serviceability checks and produced reinforcement schedules and markups for horizontal framing system (slabs and beams). 

Produced markups for CAD draughtsmen and checked them, assisted in the review of colleagues engineers to help meet deadlines.
